The puzzles look ........ well, puzzling.
Had a look at Pentagramya. Do not undestand why some poentomios are outlined and some others are not. Any particular reason? There is no relationship between the outlined pentominos and those in the grid.

Stefano, have you ever seen not puzzling puzzles from me? ![]()
Well, I'm not sure if I understood your question right, that's why I'm sorry in advance if what I'm about to tell will not make this puzzle clearer for you. This is actually not the answer, I will just explain the rules once again, but in other words.
There are 12 basic pentominoes. You should use some of them (all different, their number can be easily found by counting cells in the shape) to "reconstruct" the given shape. Listed figures should be used necessarily and they should cover all the grey cells.

No, Vladimir, if you look at the 12 pentomins pictured at the bottom there is a group (NVXWZ) which look different from the others (at least on my computer/screen). Their outline is sharper.
From your answer my interpretation is that they just look different (maybe because they are shown diagonally) so it's only a graphic effect without any importance for the puzzle.

Now I understand your concern. There's really no difference between these elements and the others for this puzzle. I guess it might be just an unexpected display of the images on some systems.
I recall some contestants reported to me that they have diagonal lines inside some cells and these lines really weren't supposed to be there... So I'm sorry but I don't know what to do in these cases. My system shows everything the way I meant it.

I have some more remarks to do
In the puzzle 3 in 1 I have found that the 2 black cells could be misleading. I started to solve the example and I thought they were (central) parts of ships. I realized afterwards they are not but I think you should make this clear in the instructions.
now a questions. Will there be a penalty for late or wrong submission?

OK, the example is updated. Now it contains crossed cells instead of black cells to prevent confusing with the ships. Also in "Domino magnets" the example is changed to show how the empty cells would look.
There will be no penalty for the wrong answers, but the late submission will be penalized. Exact penalty points will be announced later.

Password protected file with the puzzles is available for downloading. Password will be revealed on the contest page when the competition starts.
The contest will last for 2 hours, then there will be the possibility for late submission for another 10 minutes. Every extra minute (full or not) will be penalized with 12 points.

I have two comments about the instruction booklet.
In Figure Sums, each number should be used "at most" (not exactly) once
in each outlined area. Is it right ?
And in Hula-hoop puzzle, can I use 7, 8 and 9 ?
(If so, the example has too many solutions...)
Offline
Yes, there is a mistake in the instruction for Figure Sums. In the outlined areas numbers cannot be repeated but, of course, they don't have to appear in each area. It won't be corrected in the puzzle booklet, so please just keep it in mind.
The example for Hula-hoop uses only numbers 1 to 6, but the actual puzzle will use all the numbers 1 to 9.
Also, I'd like to add that puzzle booklet won't contain the examples, so please have your instruction booklet ready in case you need them.

Thanks Vladimir for another brilliant contest. Very hard puzzles, but I really enjoyed.
I solved 3in1 and made a typo, I type letter I instead 1.

Before the contest when i check the instructions i think that i can easily solve Untouchable Tetra, Pentagrayma, Digital Coverage; but during the contest i spent much more time for these puzzles; i could not solve any of them. I did 2D Magic(I like very much),Hula-hoop(wonderful), Sudoku 1-4, Roman Sudokus. But i did not submit my answers because i think it is not enough for good result. if only i sent the my answers:(
Thank you Vladimir for tough puzzles.

Thank you, Nikola. I hope this contest gave someone a feeling of how some of the next WPC's puzzles may look like ![]()
Yep, that for sure seems like a typo, so the points are yours.
Serkan, I hope you at least enjoyed this contest ![]()
I'm not sure if I could survive almost a year of creating monthly online competitions, like you did. But if there'll be a great demand for this, I think the organizing team of the next WPC will try to reach that high level set by you and Gulce.

Thank you, Stefano.
Actually there's nothing to be frightened of. Every puzzle for WPC will be thoroughly tested by a lot of people and if someone finds the particular puzzle inappropriate then it just won't appear on the championship. I know my puzzles are difficult, and I'm not the only one who knows it ![]()

All in all it was a nice competition, thank you.
The first puzzle I tried (2D Magic) was very hard for me, I spent lots auf time there and don't have a solution yet. Then I rushed through the Untouchable Tetras and asked myself why I didn't start with them. I also liked the Triangular Sudoku, the Roman Sudokus and the 3-in-1 very much. When I solved the Gears today, I was confused with the direction of the arrows, because the signs ">" and "<" have the smaller number at their tip.
And I liked the general difficulty level. Just for a contest it's very hard, but this way we can learn more about the puzzles.
Do you already have plans for the next contest? ![]()

Thomas, Semax, thanks for your comments.
Regarding the plans for the next contest I cannot say anything so far. I'm definitely going to hold "anniversary contest" this time next year, but don't know for sure if there'll be more online competitions from me before that.
Here are the solutions of this contest's puzzles.
