Horsudoku...

I'm the new one in this forum. I cant barrely wait for new competition..This is one of my sudoku variations...Have fun..

This have regular sudoku rules (1-9 in all rows and coloumn, and 3x3 boxes). Beside this, horse-marked cells have same number like in one of the attacking cells from that horse marked cell (like horse in chess, 3then1). number on the botom and right out of cells tells summ of the horse-marked cells in that coloumn/row.

Re: Horsudoku...

I think the example's solution is wrong as the rule described.

Re: Horsudoku...

Re: Horsudoku...

can two horse-marked cells have same number like in one of the attacking cells from that horse marked cell?
eg.r1c4=9,it's same as r3c3,can r4c1 be 9 just same as r3c3?

Re: Horsudoku...

Yes, it can..See example.. two horse-marked fields have same "source" (in example, see in the lowest two boxes, two of horse-marked have value 5, and their "source" is same.....Did anyone find solution? I would like some comments on my horse-sudoku?

Re: Horsudoku...

Nice combination of chess and killer. In the example you must not only change the knight but also the bottom sum in the third column. Then I can solve the puzzle. For the other puzzle I haven't found the solution so far.

There are different crossovers between chess and sudoku. An overview I made some times ago at sudoku.com. I've actually added your variant.
